WISER would like to send a big “Welcome” to our new Senior Administrative Assistant, Peggy Atkinson! Peggy will be the Administrative Assistant to WISER Director, Dr. Paul Phrampus. Prior to coming to WISER Peggy worked at UPMC Mercy in the Department of Cardiology as a Patient Information Coordinator. Peggy helped the department schedule stress tests, Echos and assisted PV Radiology patients, just to name a few she worked on.
Peggy also had several years’ experience working in the airline industry. She was a supervisor for the Special Service Desk at Pittsburgh International Airport. This area handled all medical emergencies, special needs passengers, as well as passengers with the Special Olympics and Make a Wish Foundation.
Peggy brings with her organization, motivation and a strong background in customer service, problem solving, multi-tasking and communication skills. We are excited to have her on-board.
