WISER is proud to announce the promotion of James Lightner, BS, CHSOS, from Simulation Specialist II to Manager of Simulation Services.
For more than seven years, Jim has been an integral member of the WISER team, playing a key role in the growth and success of our simulation operations. Since joining WISER, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to supporting healthcare education and patient safety initiatives across our organization.
Throughout his career at WISER, Jim has been instrumental in planning, coordinating, and managing numerous aspects of simulation operations. His contributions were particularly impactful during two major healthcare events: the Ebola preparedness response and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to joining WISER, Jim served as the Prehospital Coordinator for Allegheny Health Network and Ohio Valley Hospital, where he developed extensive experience in emergency preparedness, healthcare education, and clinical operations.
Jim’s hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence have made him the ideal choice to lead WISER’s simulation operations into the future. We are confident that under his guidance, WISER will continue to advance its mission of improving healthcare through innovation, education, and simulation.
