The WISER Simulation Center Operations Team plays a critical role in helping the UPMC Health System prepare   providers to recognize and respond to deteriorating patients. 

By assisting in the coordination of training, scenario design, moulage, equipment selection, event support, report creation, and code review committee participation, the operations team plays a critical role in improving patient safety outcomes across the health system by utilizing the most advanced simulation and AV technology. 

Our highly trained Simulation Specialists use state-of-the-art technology (simulators, task trainers, AV), the operations team creates realistic training scenarios and safe environments for providers to practice without risk of harm to real patients. 

Some of the most notable programs include Mock Codes, First 5 Minutes, Trauma Team Training, and ICU Crisis Response Team training.
