It is always a joy to be part of the Safar Symposium and honor the legacy of Dr. Peter Safar! Last week, simulationists, practicing professionals, and educators came together to share their experiences and research pertaining to how simulation is transforming the specialty of pediatric care. We want to thank all the speakers that took the time to share their expertise, including Dr. Jennifer Arnold, Dr. Melinda Fiedor Hamilton, Dr. Jared Henrickson, Dr. Alyssa Vigliotti, and our own fellow Dr. Advait Kothare! We also want to thank Dr. Patrick Kochanek and his countless years of dedication as the Director of the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research. The Safar Symposium is a testament to the strong community that supports and continually seeks to advance the field of healthcare simulation. We can’t wait for next year’s symposium!
