The administrative team has been working on multiple programs lately.  We have revamped our Fellowship Programs and are pleased to welcome our newest visiting scholar, Dr. Hafizah Abdul-Salim from Malaysia. Dr. Salim is an Emergency Medicine Physician and Medical Lecturer at the University Putra Malaysia under the Ministry of Higher Education. With special interests in critical care, life support, trauma, and clinical simulation, Dr. Salim advances our mission in supporting and training simulation professionals around the world. She will be studying with us until December of this year.

Our SSH Accredited WISER Fellowship program offers a 1-to-2-year curriculum covering various topics relating to healthcare simulation. We are actively interviewing candidates, and we are excited to see our fellowship program continue to grow with the new fellows that will be joining us this year. For more information about our fellowship program, please click here.

The administrative team has also been working closely with our marketing staff to help promote the Simulation Information Management System (SIMS) developed by WISER. This interdepartmental teamwork was emphasized during the annual International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH), when the administrative team emphasized the scheduling solutions, curriculum support, and reporting tools offered in SIMS.

We strive to make sure every student and visitor gets the most out of their time at WISER. Please let us know what we can do for you at wiserhelp@upmc.edu
