WISER is excited to welcome our first Fellow of 2021, Dr. Jiung Na. He is joining us from Kangbuk Samsung Hospital in South Korea where he is currently an assistant professor in the department of Emergency Medicine. Previously Dr. Na was an EMT Instructor and ACLS/BLS instructor at the School of military medicine Daejeon.
Dr. Na was introduced to WISER when he attended an iSIM workshop presented by our Director, Paul Phrampus, MD. He then learned of our Fellowship from a former WISER Fellow, Dr. Taegun Shin (whose Fellowship ran from 2018 to 2019).
Dr. Na hopes to learn more about running a simulation center, including operations, administration, and curriculum development. During his Fellowship at WISER, Dr. Na will be working closely with Tom Dongilli and Dr. John O?Donnell to better accomplish his goals.
Once he returns home, Dr. Na has been tasked with helping run his hospitals simulation center.
