A meeting of celebrations! Two WISER staff members were honored for their dedication, contributions and years of service to WISER and UPMC during the monthly staff meeting.
Director of Educational Development, Dr. Debby Farkas, was honored with a letter from Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf for her hard work, dedication and outstanding service to the commonwealth through her participation in the Highly Infectious Disease (HID) Statewide Strategy Work Group. Debby’s work provided vital services and expertise to help improve healthcare infrastructure, emergency planning, and response efforts across the state. Thank you Debby for all of your hard work and contributions to this project!
Senior PC Consultant, Jim Christman, celebrates fifteen years of service with UPMC and ten years with WISER! On a daily bases Jim provides technical support to WISER main in Oakland and our eight satellite centers. Jim is an integral part of the IT operations at WISER and provides excellent support and knowledge to the team. Thank you Jim for all of your hard work to help make WISER run!
