On Friday September 30th 2016, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Academy of Master Educators sponsored the First Annual Med Ed Day. The day focused on the educational innovations of students, fellows, residents and faculty across the Schools of the Health Sciences. Dr. Paul Phrampus, WISER’s director, presented “Learn by Doing-Simulation Education for Healthcare at Pitt and Around the World” in the faculty MED talks which were TED talk-like discussions. Following the inspiring round of talks, WISER participated in the Educational Resource Fair. Dr. Debby Farkas, WISER’s Director of Educational Development, shared WISER resources for educational program development with interested parties. WISER looks forward to participating in future Med Ed Days.
