WISER is proud to announce the promotion of Kimberly Mitchell, MSIS, from Senior Web Application Developer to Director of IT.

For more than two decades, Kim has been an integral member of the WISER team, playing a key role in the growth and success of our technology infrastructure. Throughout her career at WISER, Kim has served as the lead developer of SIMS (Simulation Information Management System), a commercialized application that powers scheduling, curriculum support, and reporting for simulation centers.

Before joining WISER, Kim served as the Database Applications Manager and a Training Analyst in Computing Services and Systems Development (CSSD) at The University of Pittsburgh, leading development teams, overseeing university-wide database projects, and developing training programs for faculty, staff, and students.

Kim’s technical expertise and leadership have made her the ideal choice to lead WISER’s IT operations into the future. We are confident that under her guidance, WISER will continue to advance its mission of improving healthcare through innovation, education, and simulation.

Please join us in congratulating Kim on this well-deserved promotion and wishing her continued success in her new role as Director of IT.
