As a Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) fully accredited simulation center, it is part of our mission to contribute to the development and mentorship of the future generations of healthcare educators and researchers interested in developing and deploying simulation-based teaching programs. In support of this mission, we have the honor of hosting 6 visiting scholars from China’s prestigious Peking Union Medical Collage over the course of October! These visiting scholars will work closely with WISER leadership to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to manage simulation centers, all while observing a variety of courses we offer, working collaboratively with our current Fellows, and interacting with experts in the field of simulation. We are excited to see how these new visiting scholars flourish during their time in Pittsburgh!
