A year has flown by and it is time for us to say goodbye to our Visiting Scholar Dr. Chuanhuang ?Tony? Chen. Tony started his Fellowship here at WISER in December of 2019 with many goals he wished to accomplish. We are happy to have been able to help Tony accomplish his goals and obtain knowledge about simulation center operations, information technology, administration, curriculum development, debriefing, and assessment.
Though the pandemic hit right in the middle of Tony?s Fellowship, it didn?t slow down his learning! Throughout quarantine, we kept Tony kept busy with various courses, lectures, and WISER?s Assessment Journal Club.
Tony is excited to return to his home institute of HuaZhong University of Science and Technology Union ShenZhen Hospital and implement much of what he has learned from WISER. When he returns, he will be involved in the opening of his institution?s new simulation center where he will be happy to use the knowledge he gained here at WISER to provide support to the subject matter experts in areas such as curriculum, project management, and equipment usage.
