We are pleased to announce our new Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist Training Program (TechSim): Online! Developed by our subject matter experts, TechSim is a training program designed to educate Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialists (HSOS). This course can be completed in the comfort of your own home, your office, or wherever there is internet access. You get to navigate the content at your own pace.
TechSim educates HSOS on the key tasks associated with the daily operations and maintenance of a simulation center. The course is mapped to follow the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) Examination Blueprint and offers fifteen Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits for those who are already CHSOS or CHSE certified.
Detailed, easy to follow web modules address the most prominent topics facing simulation center operations personnel today. With over forty modules of content, topics range from Concepts in Healthcare, to Supply and Inventory Management, to Simulation Operations Specialist Role in Curriculum Development Process, and so many more.
More of a hands-on person and want to attend in person? You can! We are also offering a 1.5-day Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist Training Program (TechSim): Onsite course. Participants will get to experience hands-on training sessions and workshops during the 1.5-day course. The onsite course also follows the SSH CHSOS Examination Blueprint.
